The Side Side Project

Not that I have enough projects going. I wanted a quick and easy marine force to paint up. Going to be bike heavy using the WS character . I also wanted to do a marine army with all the shoulder/unit markings. Still working on a name and background

Boltgun metal and scab red, then wash with badab black. The highlight silver and then mid tone and highlight the red. For decals I coat the area with future polish, apply decal, apply decal set, then future again. After 24 hours I gloss clear coat the whole model with testors.

It's about time

Long delayed updates. Working on my adepticon team army. Space Wolves! I am doing Logan Grimnar's Great Wolf Company. My biggest roadblock was the lack of correct decals or shoulder pads. I ended up using my laser cutter to make a push mold to create the Wolf that stalks pads.

'ard Boyz Trophies

Games Workshop (US) commissioned me again to make the 40k 'ard Boyz trophies. They are 1:1 scale versions of Ork weapons used in the game.

Enjoy.

Leviathan progress

The Leviathan is progressing well. I have started the detailing of the haul and should have the tracks mounted this weekend.

And now something completely different

I have restarted my 40k scale Leviathan project. The first one was a little undersized and I only got the basic shape done. The new one should be spot on, well at least to me.

3 sets of Baneblade tracks, 3 sheets of 18" x 24" x 1/8" acrylic and a pile of GW city terrain sets.

Here is the epic model I'm using for the basis - Image belongs to Kaptain Kobold on flicker

More Soon!
